Pre filters are an essential part of water purification in your system. The foam filter cartridge removes sand, rust, silt and other sediments. While the carbon block filter is formed in specially pressured high density blocks to gain a high absorption rate of chlorine, other chemicals and multi-particle organic substances.
We recommend changing your pre filters every 3-5 months. Ensuring your pre filters are properly taken care of will lengthen the life of your membrane.
